Discovering Cyrus: The Persian Conqueror Astride the Ancient World (Iran's Age of Empire) - Reza Zarghamee

I'm just a few pages in, and already I'm seeing an undercurrent of pride in ancient Iran underneath the narrative. This isn't necessarily a bad thing yet (given the nature of the book, it's presence is perfectly understandable), but it will be interesting to see if to prohibits Zaghamee from providing critical judgments when they're called for.
